Q. In a nutshell, what do you do for Freeman?
Since taking up my new role, I’ve been looking at the overall operations of the business, ensuring our teams are aligned with the expectations ahead and we have a fully motivated team.
Q. What are you up to at the moment?
I am planning for Freeman’s busiest six months since it entered the EMEA market. We have multiple events and projects taking place across Europe, and we are committed to delivering a premium service and a great customer experience at each and every one of them.
Q. Favourite thing about events?
The pace of the industry and the continuous change – no sooner have you built an event, it’s being pulled down again and re-built somewhere else!
Q. How do you stay inspired?
I get bored very easily, so working in a fast-paced environment alongside similar minded people is a great motivator. A desire to always be the best in the brand experience industry is what keeps me going.
Q. Proudest work moment?
When I was in sales a long time ago, I broke the £1m target outside of the London market. All other £1m plus targets in the business were achieved in the capital.
Q. How do relax when you’re not working?
I spend time with my family, walk the dog and follow the mighty Nottingham Forest Football Club – although they are not that mighty anymore – more of a small clump of trees!
Q. What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Always push yourself and don’t be afraid of initially failing.
Q. Who’s your celebrity look-a-like?
Not sure I have one, but my wife would say Brad Pitt.
