Freeman also worked with the event’s organiser, Mash Media to deliver the show, and we sponsored the keynote theatre, where second screen technology FXP | touch was used to facilitate interaction and engagement among the audience.
The Freeman stand was divided into five distinct areas, each of which was dedicated to demoing a particular product in our new digital event technology portfolio, plus there was plenty of space for networking.
Our UK and US based technology experts were on hand throughout the two days to educate and inform attendees about how the products can enhance their events, and they could don a virtual reality (VR) headset to witness first-hand how the tech can immerse audiences in new worlds.
The LiveBuzz stand was unmissable on the venue’s upper level. It had a pared back wooden design, a cocktail bar, slick white furniture for networking, and its brand name was illuminated in lights.
Members of the Freeman team spoke on various topics across the two days:
- Anthony Floreano, Senior Vice President sat on a ‘view from the top’ panel with fellow industry heavyweights. He discussed the importance of leveraging technology to enhance events, the role of digital content and more. On day two, Anthony shared his advice for those looking to excel in their career as an event professional.
- US-based William Collins, Vice President – Digital Product Management discussed top event tech trends for 2017, including data and the need to engage with our audiences 365 days a year.
- Adam Jones, Director – Digital Products spoke all things Artificial Intelligence during a panel session, where he explained how AI can be used to enhance the experience for attendees. He stressed that it’s important to be transparent with people. If we tell them how their data will be used and how it will benefit them through a more relevant, personal experience, they are more likely to welcome AI. The session was moderated by US-based Ken Holsinger, Vice President – Digital Solutions.
- Greg Cherry, Business Development Director discussed the ways that event professionals can become an influencer in their industry during a panel that formed part of the sales conference.
